Sales and Delivery:

Dispatch of Information Cards and Order Confirmations:

Information cards and order confirmations are always sent to the provided email address.

Responsibility for Tickets:

The responsibility for the ticket transfers to you as the consumer at the moment you receive the ticket. When you have paid for an experience, the storage ticket is always sent to the provided email address. If you do not receive an email, you should first check if our email is placed in your spam or promotions folder. If it is not there, you can contact us directly for assistance.

Prices:

Retreats and Classes:

All prices at Lost Folks are stated in DKK and include VAT. Excluded are experiences that, besides their content and nature, are exempt from VAT regulations.

Price and Print Errors:

We take into account price and print errors on our website, social media, newsletters, and other mailings, and reserve the right to cancel orders if there is a significant and/or obvious error.

Clarification Policy:

Cancellation by the Customer:

If you choose to cancel, you can reschedule if more than 5 days before the event by contacting us directly. Some experiences have special rescheduling rules, such as retreats and experiences that require extensive preparation, so there may be some exceptions. This will be indicated under the specific retreat page on Lostfolks.com

Weather Conditions:

Safety and good conditions are the highest priority. Therefore, weather conditions may sometimes make it impossible to hold the experience. If this happens, the responsible instructor will contact you to find a new date together.

Cancellation by Lost Folks:

Our instructors do everything possible to ensure you can have the experience. However, unforeseen events, such as illness or weather conditions, may require cancellation. If this happens, you will be contacted by the responsible person via phone/SMS and then by email. If the instructor chooses to cancel due to low enrollment, planning errors, or similar reasons, the cancellation must occur no later than 5 days before the start of the training. Regardless of when the cancellation takes place, alternative booking dates must be available, and if not, you have the right to a refund for your experience.

Payment Safety:

Through our software provider Understory, we use SSL, which means your credit card information is encrypted. When you pay by credit card, you are protected against misuse because you can make a payment through your bank. Additionally, you have no deductible in case of credit card misuse in an online store that uses SSL. Lost Folks uses SSL, meaning your credit card information is encrypted.

Liability & Insurance:

Please note that Lost Folks does not assume any liability for any personal injuries that occur during retreats. Participants are expected to have their own travel insurance. This retreat is not considered an event covered by package travel legislation.

Every participant needs their own travel insurance that covers them and the activities mentioned at the retreat. The guides and Lost Folks are not liable in terms of injuries or similar sustained damage for the duration of the trip.

As a participant it is mandatory and expected to be transparent towards us and potential guides regarding health conditions or other factors that can play a role in the successful execution of the trip. We want you to have the best time and to feel safe, heard and enjoy the experience.

Neither potential guides nor Lost Folks are liable in terms of injuries or similar sustained damage, nor any additional cost or expenses affiliated with cancellation or postponement of the original trip (car rental, ferry tickets or similar) caused by the guest.

Passport Responsibility:

Lost Folks is not responsible for providing passport or visa requirements for your travel. Your specific passport and visa requirements, as well as any other immigration requirements, are your sole responsibility, and it is crucial that you confirm these with the relevant embassies and/or consulates. Any information provided by Lost Folks on the website or otherwise about these or related matters is given as general guidance and in good faith; however, we do not accept liability for decisions made based on this information.

Review of Government Website Requirements:

Passport, visa, and health requirements at the time of booking should be reviewed on relevant government websites or through personal inquiries. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your group have all necessary travel and health documents and comply with any additional immigration requirements before departure. We accept no liability if you are unable to travel due to non-compliance with passport, visa, or immigration requirements.

Encouragement to Obtain Appropriate Insurance:

You are strongly encouraged to take out appropriate insurance coverage that covers the risks associated with the services you are participating in, including costs related to assistance, such as repatriation, in case of accidents, illnesses, or deaths.

Requirements upon Arrival for the Experience:

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of the experience. Upon arrival, please ensure you can document your reservation via your ticket or booking confirmation.

Personal Information:

We require the registration of your personal information for the purpose of delivering the product to you. Personal information is registered with Lost Folks and stored for five years if the information is deleted.

Your Rights:

In connection with purchases, identity and transaction information is stored in accordance with applicable laws at any given time. If your information is incorrect, unauthorized, or irrelevant, you have the right to have it deleted or rectified.
